Air Europa

Air Europa Líneas Aéreas S.A.U. was founded in 1984 and made its first flight on 21 November 1986. The airline was acquired by a group of inverstors led by Juan José Hidalgo in 1991. Headquartered in Llucmajor (Balearic Islands), today Air Europa Líneas Aéreas is the leading Spanish-owned airline. Its subsidiary, Air Europa Express, was created in 2016.

The airline’s Chairman is Juan José Hidalgo and its Chief Executive Officer is Jesús Nuño de la Rosa.
