At an official ceremony in Moscow, SkyTeam representatives welcomed Aeroflot as the alliance's tenth member. SkyTeam is the first global airline alliance to include a Russian carrier. With the addition of Aeroflot, SkyTeam serves approximately 373 million passengers with 13,133 daily departures to 856 global destinations in 169 countries.
